Captain’s Log

At the age of 45 I’ve come to realise that one of my migraine triggers is the moon. I get Moongraines. I’m not exactly sure what the trigger is, but I have had enough of them to notice the pattern. Migraines occur around full moons. How do I compensate for that? It’s (gesticulating wildly) … the moon! I can’t, which means that this week I had a migraine.

It was a bad one. The worst I’ve had in 20 years. Was the moon closer than normal? Are the Clangers up to something? Who knows. What I do know is it’s left me with a bad case of brain fog and I have been unable to focus enough to write.

So, no big story this week I’m afraid. Let’s see what next week brings.
